Scoliosis treatment – Schroth therapy in Budapest
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deformity, which is why it needs three-dimensional correction. The Schroth method – with its targeted exercises combined with corrective breathing – improves posture and balances muscle tone, both in children and adults. We welcome patients with scoliosis in our Budapest clinic in District 13, Újlipótváros.
Who is it for?

What to expect at the first session
The first session begins with an assessment, where I evaluate the condition of the spine and set up your individual Schroth programme. Wear comfortable clothing – for scoliosis treatment, come with a bare back or in a bra, so that as much of the back as possible is visible.
Frequently Asked Questions
At what age should Schroth therapy be started?
The earlier, the better – the most visible results can be achieved in growing children, but adults also benefit greatly in posture and symptoms.
Can Schroth therapy prevent surgery?
It depends on the specialist’s decision: in mild to moderate curves it often can – targeted conservative treatment can prevent or delay surgical solutions.
Do I need to practise at home?
Yes – consistency is the key to success. You learn the exercises in the clinic and can do them at home, while we continuously track your progress.
