Frequently Asked Questions

When should I start pelvic floor training after childbirth?

Ideally, gentle targeted exercise can begin within the first 6-8 weeks, in agreement with your obstetrician. The earlier you start, the sooner your pelvic floor recovers.

Do I need a referral?

No, you can book an appointment with a physiotherapist without a referral. We are also happy to cooperate with your doctor or midwife.

Is pelvic floor training only for women?

No – the pelvic floor training is also useful for men, for example after prostate surgery or in case of urinary complaints.
